Today's sports betting picks: Why LSU vs. Arkansas will get off to a slow start, plus more college football and soccer best bets for Saturday

Host Allan Bell is joined by sports betting experts Mike McClure, Micah Roberts and Jon "Buckets" Eimer on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for college football and soccer for Saturday, Nov. 12.

Allan starts off by breaking down Friday's picks, when the Early Edge crew went 6-0-1 on its plays. Buckets then runs down the last weekend for the major world soccer leagues before the World Cup. He says you need to be very careful betting this weekend, with many top stars likely to sit out or be distracted from their league duties.

Mike then comes in with his college football pick, going Under 13.5 Points First Quarter in LSU vs. Arkansas (Noon ET). It's expected to be cold and windy in Fayetteville. McClure calls it a "potential letdown spot for LSU, at least initially, after that huge win against Alabama." He also notes that Razorbacks quarterback KJ Jefferson is banged up. "I could see this game taking a possession or two on each side to really get moving here," McClure says.

Buckets then has a soccer pick, on Arsenal vs. Wolverhampton (2:45 p.m. ET). He is backing the league-leading Gunners -150 against Wolves, who are second-to-last in the English Premier League table. Arsenal have yielded the fewest goals in the league, and Wolves have scored the fewest, so this is worth the slight juice. "This, especially now after that Man City loss (to Brentford earlier Saturday), is fantastic value," Eimer says.

Micah has three college football picks, the first from Penn State vs. Maryland (3:30 p.m. ET), and he is backing the Nittany Lions -10 at home. He also is on West Virginia vs. Oklahoma (Noon ET), taking the Mountaineers +9 and is going Over 68 in Louisiana Tech vs. UT San Antonio (3:30 p.m. ET).
