SportsLine's top experts share their highlighted bets on the Early Edge podcast for Wednesday, Sept. 15.
Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Allie O'Neill, Mike McClure, Zack Cimini and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the prime plays for Major League Baseball, college football and soccer for Wednesday, Sept. 15.
Zack looks ahead to Titans-Seahawks on Sunday and notes Julio Jones' terrific history against Seattle and how it should figure into prop plays. Larry gives us some reasons why the Broncos and Jaguars had misleading final scores in their openers as they head into a Week 2 matchup. Mike starts considering Jacksonville's Week 3 game against Arizona based on Larry's insights.Â
The Coach drops the SportsLine Plays of the Day from the UEFA Champions League. He backs Inter Milan and Real Madrid Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score at -162 at 3 p.m. ET.Â
Allie's featured MLB play is the Red Sox and Mariners Over eight runs at 4:10 p.m. ET. "The last 11 Mariners games have gone over and all but one of the Mariners-Red Sox matchups since 2019 have actually gone over," she says. "I really don't think the pitchers matter because I've played this the last two days and right at the end it goes insane like last night, when the Red Sox scored all those runs in the eighth inning."Â
Mike is on the Marlins in the first five innings over the Nationals at 1:05 p.m. ET. Miami has a definite advantage in the pitching matchup and should tee off against Washington's Josh Rogers.Â
In college football, Zack is taking Louisville +7 over UCF on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. This is a critical spot for the Cardinals to gain a victory after getting blown out last week and they should be able to move the ball effectively.Â
Larry's top MLB prop play is Merrill Kelly Under 3.5 strikeouts in Diamondbacks-Dodgers at 10:10 p.m. ET. He does not expect much length from Kelly and Los Angeles does not strike out much.Â
