Today's picks: Why the Brewers will beat the Mets, plus more MLB and college football best bets for Wednesday, Sept. 21

Coach starts things off with the SportsLine play of the day: the Royals to cover the +1.5 run line against the Twins (8:10 p.m. ET). "The Twins? As Johnny [Bollman] said yesterday, 'Fade, fade, fade," Coach says.

Bollman has two plays from MLB. The first is the Brewers (+110) to beat the Mets (7:10 p.m. ET). "The Mets are starting to play well again, but the Brewers are still 10-6 at home over the last 30 days," he says.

He also likes the Padres (-125) to beat Miles Mikolas and the Cardinals (9:40 p.m. ET). "Miles Mikolas is also 5-9 with a 4.56 ERA on the road," he says.

Bell closes out the show with two plays. The first is the Astros Team Total to go Over 3.5 against the Rays (6:40 p.m. ET). "[The Astros] have been mashing against the Rays the last two days," he says.

He also likes a play from Saturday's college football game between Florida and Tennessee (3:30 p.m. ET): Over 13.5 points in the first quarter. "Craziness and bananaland will happen," he says. "Someone will throw a pick six. Someone will fumble; they'll return it for a score. It happens every single year [in this game]."
