Today's picks: Why the Astros will beat the Rangers, plus more MLB, WNBA and soccer best bets for Wednesday, Aug. 31

Wetzel starts things off with two plays from the WNBA playoffs. The first play is the Sun (-110) to be the first team to score in its game against the Sky (8 p.m. ET). "[The Sun's Jonquel] Jones is by far the best center at winning jump balls left in the playoffs," he says.

He also likes the Aces' Kelsey Plum to score Over 20.5 points (-115) against the Storm (10 p.m. ET). "Her usage skyrockets without Dearica Hamby on the court," he says.

Coach then chimes in with his Cash With The Coach play: the Astros (-130) to beat the Rangers (2:05 p.m. ET). "I think [Texas starter Martin Perez] is a little bit overrated," he says. 

Selesnick has one player prop from MLB: Under 4.5 strikeouts for Reds starter Mike Minor (-108) against the Cardinals (6:40 p.m. ET). "He has been held under this total in five of his last seven appearances and 10 of 15 overall," he says.

Eimer closes out the show with two soccer plays. The first is Belgrade Crvena Zvezda (+125) to beat crosstown rival Partizan (2 p.m. ET). "[Crvena Zvezda] have a goal differential of 25-2," he says.

His final play is Both Teams To Score: Yes (-120) in the Angers-Reims match (1 p.m. ET).
