Today's picks: Why Ravens will cover vs. Raiders, plus more MLB and soccer picks for Monday

Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Zack Cimini and Justin Perri on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get the prime plays for the NFL, MLB and soccer for Monday, Sept. 13.

The Coach reminds us about the Monday Night Football pregame livestream that will also include an early look at Week 2. Zack tell us why Monday's game is an interesting one for Darren Waller, and then reviews the time management issues that led to New England's loss to Miami. 

The two SportsLine Plays of the Day are then highlighted, including Everton FC -150 over Burnley at 3 p.m. ET and Bologna and Verona Over 2.5 goals at 2:45 p.m. ET. He also delivers Allie O' Neal's pick of the Yankees -0.5 in the first five innings at 2:05 p.m. ET. 

On Monday Night Football, Zack is all over the Ravens -4 over the Raiders at 8:15 p.m. ET. "I think they're going to overcome their issues at tailback. Ty'Son Williams will get a shot tonight for the Ravens and I think he will do well," he says. "Lamar Jackson has been potent in Week 1. "Go back to two years ago, the Ravens scored 59 points against the Dolphins in Week 1. Last year, everyone was in on the Cleveland Browns in Week 1, they beat them too, 38-6."

Justin also jumps on the Baltimore pick, as he believes the Ravens defense can overcome a significant personnel loss. He reveals a Jim Harbaugh trend that further backs up his highly recommended selection. The Coach, however, chooses to go the contrarian route and issues a SportsLine Showdown challenge to both Zack and Justin. 

In MLB, Justin is taking the Twins and Yankees to go Over 10 runs. Minnesota tends be a good Over play on the road, and the games between the two teams this season have been high scoring.
