Today's picks: Why Giants will cover vs. Buccaneers, plus more NBA, college basketball and NHL picks for Monday

Justin provides a pair of college basketball picks from his model, leading with LSU -5.5 over Belmont at 8 p.m. ET. This is a big game for Belmont, and it could be hotly contested, but LSU will still cover. He is also on Wisconsin -2.5 over Texas A&M at 2 p.m. ET. Turnovers will be a key stat in this matchup, yet the Badgers will still prevail. 

Allie's featured NHL play is the Senators and Avalanche Over six goals at 8:30 p.m. ET. The recent matchups between the teams have consistently gone over this number. Colorado's offense has been looking good in home games, and the Senators are well-rested enough to help the outlook in this one. 

In the NFL, Larry is taking the Giants +11 over the Buccaneers at 8:15 p.m. ET. "The Giants are 19-4 the last 23 times they have suited up as road underdogs. Daniel Jones, for some reason, is better on the road, with 27 passing TDs and eight INTs," he says. "The only road game they didn't cover this year was against the Cowboys. Daniel Jones got knocked out early. This is just too many for points for the Giants. Even if they get down big, we can always get the back door with Daniel Jones."
