The Coach is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. Get your top plays for MLB, the NBA and NHL for Friday, May 28.

The guys review the Thursday evening live stream and tell you why it is an event not to be missed when scheduled on other days in the future. Mike launches into a very detailed weather breakdown for Friday around MLB as there are a total of six games in danger of being postponed. He alerts us of the risks and spotlights the games that will be affected. Larry takes a look at Clippers-Mavericks at 10 p.m. ET and the perceptions that Dallas cannot keep up its hot shooting. Can anyone stop Luka Doncic?

The Coach supplies a pair of SportsLine Plays of the Day from the site models and experts. He backs up the Clippers -2.5 over the Mavericks, revealing a very unique trend that strongly supports the selection. In the NHL playoffs, he recommends taking the Golden Knights -180 over the Wild at 9 p.m. ET.

Mike offers up a pair of MLB picks, including the Cubs -1.5 over the Reds at 2:20 p.m. ET (one of the games that may be postponed). It will be a tough spot for Vladimir Gutierrez to make his MLB debut, and Adbert Alzolay is in a groove heading into this matchup.

He is also on the Red Sox 1,5 over the Marlins and Cody Poteet at 7:10 p.m. ET. "Martin Perez is on the mound and I like him against the Marlins," he says. "It is a little bit of a park shift and a league shift for the Marlins offense, but it's going to be tough on their starting pitching. The Red Sox are truly healthy for the first time this season. It looks like everyone is going to be in the lineup."

Larry jumps on the Boston train, too, taking Perez Over 5.5 strikeouts. He says Miami is especially vulnerable against lefties. His featured NBA prop play is Derrick Rose Over 3.5 rebounds in Knicks-Hawks at 7 p.m. ET. Rose is playing very heavy minutes and Larry says some may be overrating the age factor with him.
