Today's picks: NIT featured college basketball selections, plus more NBA and NHL picks for Thursday

Jonathan Coachman is joined by top sports betting experts Mike McClure and Larry Hartstein on the Early Edge podcast, powered by SportsLine. The guys dish out their prime picks for college basketball, the NBA and the NHL for Thursday, March 25. 

The Coach drops the puck first with the SportsLine Play of the Day in the NHL. He is taking the Maple Leafs and Senators to go under 6.5 goals at 7:00 p.m. ET. He notes how the SportsLine simulations make this a strong play. 

In the National Invitational Tournament, Mike is opting for N.C. State -1.5 over Colorado State at 7 p.m. ET. He says the Wolfpack are definitely the better team, and will be motivated to down the Rams. His NBA pick is the Knicks -3 over the Wizards at 7:30 p.m. ET. While it may seem to be a challenging task to beat the same team twice in a week, New York's core gives them the needed edge to defeat Washington again. 

Larry issues his player prop from the Knicks also, targeting Nerlens Noel to stay under 6.5 points. The return of Mitchell Robinson has made Noel even less of an option for minimal scoring output. Larry is on a great run in college basketball, so you have to jump on his NIT pick of Memphis -4 over Boise State at 9 p.m. ET. "It's not about fading the Mountain West. It's more about how good Memphis is," he says. "I think if Memphis made it into the NCAA tournament, they'd still be playing given the right draw. That's how good this team has been over the last half of the season. Loyola is the best defensive team in the nation. No. 2? Memphis. This team is just clicking." Larry is also going with Western Kentucky +1 over Louisiana Tech at 10 p.m. ET.
