Titans vs. Jets NFL Week 4 injury report, spread, odds, upset alert: AJ Brown, Julio Jones both out Sunday for Tennessee

The Titans could be down both top receivers Sunday at the New York Jets.

The winless New York Jets haven't caught many breaks this season as they haven't even led in a game (only team in NFL not to) under first-year coach Robert Saleh. However, Gang Green will catch two big breaks Sunday at home against Tennessee as the Titans are going to be without No. 1 wideout AJ Brown and 1A Julio Jones, too. The Titans were 7.5-point favorites at Caesars Sportsbooks, although that has dipped now to 6 at some books.

Brown left the Titans' Week 3 win over the Colts in the first quarter with a hamstring injury and that he didn't come close to returning doesn't bode well for him this Sunday. He is considered week-to-week. Brown has seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Second-year Nick Westbrook-Ikhine took Brown's spot in the lineup vs. Indy and finished with four receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown

Jones, of course acquired in trade this offseason from Atlanta, is dealing with a leg injury and is in question. The future Hall of Famer played only 50 percent of the Titans' offensive snap vs. the Colts because Coach Mike Vrabel said Jones had been dealing with tightness and the club wanted to manage his snaps. Jones has 12 catches for 204 yards. Josh Reynolds is listed behind him on the depth chart.

Both Brown and Jones also missed significant chunks of training camp with injuries. The Titans perhaps are giving them a "bye" week with the thinking they can still beat the sad-sack Jets, who have totaled just 20 points in three games and have yet to score a first-half touchdown. It should mean a massive dose of Derrick Henry, who leads the NFL with 353 rush yards and in attempts with 80. Henry is the heavy +180 favorite at Caesars Sportsbook to lead the league in rushing for a third straight season.

Meanwhile, Jets rookie QB Zach Wilson is tied for the NFL lead with seven picks and it's not even coming against blitzes -- six of Wilson's interceptions and 11 of his 25 QB hits have come against a four-man rush. New York is allowing five sacks per game.

Wilson is no longer among the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year favorites, having risen to +2000. The Jets' season win total at Caesars Sportsbook is down to 3.5. That's tied for the fewest with the winless Jaguars and Lions and one-win Texans. However, the Jets are +175 favorites to be the last winless team.
