Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka's rivalry has been well-documented over the last couple of years and on Friday they'll use the publicity their dislike of each other has generated for a good cause with a charity match at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas. The 12-hole match will be broadcast on national television and while the end game is raising money, there's no question the two highly-competitive players will also want the bragging rights. The Match V odds from Caesars Sportsbook currently list DeChambeau as the -137 favorite (risk $137 to win $100) while Koepka is at +110.
In addition to picking a winner, a number of prop bets are available for bettors to wager on, and SportsLine's Mike McClure has pinpointed several must-plays. Therefore, before you lock in your picks for The Match V, be sure to see McClure's best bets.
Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, it's up almost $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.
Earlier this month at the 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, the model was all over Viktor Hovland (18-1) winning his third PGA Tour title. At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure's best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. He was also all over Daniel Berger (+220) and Emiliano Grillo (+700) finishing inside the top-20. McClure's best bets netted over $2,200 at the Open Championship.
In addition, McClure was all over Mickelson and Charles Barkley against Stephen Curry and Peyton Manning as +145 underdogs in the Match III. This same model has also nailed a whopping seven majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!
Now, with sportsbooks taking bets on The Match V, McClure has scoured the odds and locked in his top picks. We can tell you McClure is backing the Koepka to be leading after three holes for a -110 payout. Koepka has always gotten up for big tournaments and after a years-long war of words with DeChambeau, he'll likely be the more intense of the two out of the gate on Friday.
McClure has also locked in two additional best bets, including a pick to win and a prop with a plus-money payout. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks before making any selections of your own!
