SportsLine subscribers come up big in the fight against childhood cancer

CBS Sports aired its second annual Fantasy Football Today telethon benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis on Aug. 22, and SportsLine subscribers came up big again.

During the six-hour telecast on CBS Sports HQ, DFS pro Mike McClure presented a $5,000 check to St. Jude -- part of SportsLine's continuing commitment to charity. SportsLine was able to make the donation thanks to a strong response from subscribers.

The go-to site for Vegas expert picks, advanced computer projections and next-level Fantasy advice, SportsLine raised nearly $12,000 for March of Dimes in March and more than $5,200 last fall for Second Harvest Food Bank in Nashville. Earlier in August, the SportsLine crew served dinner to the homeless at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission.

You can still help St. Jude in its noble mission: Advancing cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. At St. Jude, no child is denied treatment based on a family's ability to pay.

The Fantasy Football Today Telethon featured McClure offering up NFL Week 1 DFS advice and former NFL players Roddy White, Matt Forte, Pierre Garcon and Eddie Lacy taking phone calls from fans.

To get McClure's DFS advice, NFL picks from a proven computer model and winning expert picks in an array of sports, join SportsLine now.
