The seventh-ranked Purdue Boilermakers head to East Lansing on Saturday to take on a struggling No. 24 Michigan State Spartans team in a Big Ten college basketball matchup. Purdue (24-4, 15-1) has won nine of its past 10 games, while Michigan State (18-9, 9-7) has lost five of six.

Tipoff is set for noon ET at the Breslin Center. Purdue is favored by five points in the latest Purdue vs. Michigan State college basketball odds at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 146.5. (See up-to-date odds for every game that is available on our college basketball odds page).

Before you make any Michigan State vs. Purdue picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The Boilermakers have been one of the nation's top teams all season, despite an inexplicable 82-58 loss to Michigan two weeks ago. They are sixth in the nation in scoring (82.2 points per game), second in 3-point shooting (40.2 percent) and third in overall shooting percentage (50.2). Jaden Ivey scored 25 points for Purdue in an 84-72 win against Rutgers in its last game, and he is averaging a team-best 17.3 points.

Meanwhile, the Spartans have had a lot of trouble recently, but they also shoot well, at least from outside. They hit 38 percent from beyond the arc (20th in Division I), and Purdue opponents are hitting almost 34 percent from outside (209th). Players like Gabe Brown (35.1 percent on 148 tries) and even Malik Hall (50.9 percent on 53 attempts) could find success. Brown leads the team in scoring at 11.4 points per game.

The model has broken down Saturday's Purdue vs. Michigan State matchup from every angle. It is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50 percent of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
