Pete's Best Bets: Steelers should keep getting better
Our Pete Prisco shares his five best bets for Week 3 in the NFL, which includes the Steelers covering in St. Louis and Seattle blowing out Chicago.

A 5-0 record against the spread was staring me in the face last week, but Eli Manning's blunder near the end zone with the Giants up 20-10 against the Atlanta Falcons pretty much ended that chance.
But I will take the 4-1 mark with the Best Bets.
After a 2-3 start to open the season in the SuperContest at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook as part of Team OddsShark, I got back on track with a good week.
Now it's time to build on it.Â
The 6-4 season record is solid, but I expect more.
You expect more.
So here are my five best for this week ...
Seahawks (-14.5) vs. Bears -- I hate laying big spreads, but this is one of those spots where a team that opened with two road games gets to play a home opener against a team that isn't that good and is playing the backup quarterback.
Laying more than two touchdowns is downright nuts, except that I think this Seattle team will come out frothing at the mouth. The return of safety Kam Chancellor from his two-game holdout will help. This is not a good week to be Jimmy Clausen, who starts for Jay Cutler.Â
Steelers (-1.5) at Rams --Â The Steelers lead the NFL in offense, which will be a challenge for a talented Rams defense. Not only that, but the Steelers get back Le'Veon Bell this week. His pass-catching abilities add a lot to the offense.
The Steelers are 7-1 straight up and 6-2 against the spread in their last eight against the NFC West. That's good enough for me with the way Ben Roethlisberger is playing.
Dolphins (-3) vs. Bills --Â The Dolphins will be playing their home opener here against Rex Ryan and the Bills. The game is a late start, but it will still be hot for a Bills team that might not be used to that heat and humidity.
The Bills showed some flaws on defense last week against the Patriots, flaws I think Ryan Tannehill can expose.
This will be Tyrod Taylor's first road start, which is always a challenge. Look for Miami to get back on track after the upset loss to the Jaguars last week.
Colts (-3) at Titans --Â As bad as the Colts have looked the first two weeks, they are 7-0 against the Titans in their last seven.
That matters.
The Colts need to get cranked up on offense with Andrew Luck, and this is where they do it. The Titans are 14th in net yards passing per play, but that was against Jameis Winston (first start) and Johnny Manziel (third career start).
Luck will get the passing game untracked, and I would imagine the Colts will play a lot faster on offense than they did against the Jets. The Titans won't keep up.
Cowboys (+2) vs. Falcons -- I am getting points? How is that possible?
Yes, Atlanta has won two consecutive games to open the season, and Tony Romo is out, but getting points?
That makes no sense to me. Brandon Weeden did some good things last week in relief of Romo, who is out with a broken clavicle. With that offensive line, he will be just fine.
It's not like the Falcons are great on defense. The Cowboys did a nice job against the Eagles offense last week, and I think that carries over.
I'm really getting points with Dallas? Wow.
