Pete's Best Bets: It's time to take a lot of points
Our Pete Prisco shares his best NFL plays for Week 10, highlighted by all underdogs.

Going back to the dogs with my picks this week.
After going 3-2 in my picks last week as part of Team Oddshark in the SuperContest at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, I am now 25-19-1 on the season.
That's pretty good, but it also puts me 5.5 games behind the leader of our Team Oddshark group (no, it's not Nick Kostos, although the way he talks you'd think it was him).
So I turn to five underdogs this week for my picks. It's time for a playoff push, with mid-November into December being the time when champions emerge.
It's my time.
I feel 5-0 coming.Â
Bears (+7.5) at Rams  (SportsLine's pick) -- I know the Bears are playing consecutive road games, which is tough. But Jay Cutler is playing good football and the defense is much improved. The Rams are tough on defense and Todd Gurley can run it, but they are limited in the passing game. The Bears will keep it close.Â
Cardinals (+3.5) at Seahawks  (SportsLine's pick) -- I am bucking a trend here since the Cardinals are 2-6 as underdogs on the road against Seattle in the past eight games. That won't play here. This Cardinals team is different. They will attack through the air, something that has given Seattle problems, and have success doing so. Carson Palmer is playing in this one. That matters.Â
Cowboys (+1.5) at Buccaneers  (SportsLine's pick) -- This is a must game for the Cowboys. They can't afford to lose. They won't. Just like the Giants went in and beat the Bucs last week, so, too, will the Cowboys this week. Matt Cassel is getting more confortable and the offensive line will be key here. They Bucs have issues in the secondary and Dez Bryant will have a big game.Â
Browns (+4.5) at Steelers  (SportsLine's pick) -- Let's just say this is a bet against Landry Jones. I took the 49ers plus the points last week because it was a bet against the Falcons laying seven. This isn't about Cleveland, but rather in not believing in Jones to cover more than a field goal.Â
Jaguars (+5.5) at Ravens  (SportsLine's pick) -- The Jaguars are explosive on offense -- yes, I said it -- and the Ravens can't defend that pass. That's a bad combination. The Ravens are coming off a bye, while the Jaguars are playing consecutive road games, which is scary. But I think Blake Bortles and crew can keep it close.Â
