Pete's Best Bets: Bills won't get the better of Mariota
Our Pete Prisco thinks Marcus Mariota will get the better of Buffalo's loud and proud defense in Week 5.

We're at the quarter point of the NFL season, or close to it, and after a month of making my Best Bets, I'm 12-8 ATS.
The problem is consistency.
I was 2-3 the first week, 4-1 the second, 2-3 the third and then 4-1 again last week.
The one loss last week was the Miami Dolphins. That pick was about as strong as Joe Philbin's chances of landing another head-coaching job.Â
But the rest of the picks were solid with the Lions, Bears, Vikings and Saints (thanks to the overtime touchdown and missed field goal in regulation.)Â
I am now in the middle of the pack of the Team Oddshark group in the SuperContest at Westgate Las Vegas Superbook.
It's time to pick up the pace, and I like my five this week, so here goes ...
Titans (+2.5)Â vs. Bills -- Tennessee is coming off a bye week, which I like. The Bills haven't looked liked the team many expected and come off a bad loss last week to the Giants.
The Buffalo pass rush just hasn't been what was expected for the money, which is why I think Marcus Mariota will play well here. Tyrod Taylor was ordinary last week, and that will carry over.
Titans not only cover, but also win.
Eagles (-4.5) vs. Saints -- The Eagles are in a good spot here to get the offense going against a bad defense.
Philly is home for the first time after two straight road games, while the Saints are coming off an emotional season-saving home victory over Dallas.
Look for Eagles to get it in gear here against a defense that is last in yards allowed per play.
Packers (-9) vs. Rams --Â This is a classic battle between a big-time offense in Green Bay and the defensive front of the Rams.
St. Louis is playing a second consecutive road game, which is always tough. But it's even tougher when it's in Lambeau against the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. He will light up the Rams as the Packers do their thing at home again.
Bengals (-3) vs. Seahawks --Â This game against Seattle is a huge proving ground for the Bengals.
The Seahawks are the defending NFC champs and a have a great defense, which will test Andy Dalton. But this Bengals offense has been explosive. Dalton will continue to play at a high level and the Bengals defense will get all over Russell Wilson.Â
Raiders (+4.5) vs. Broncos --Â The key in this one will be how well the Raiders offensive line blocks the Denver pass rush.
Oakland has done a good job protecting Derek Carr, giving up just five sacks, but Denver leads the league in sacks on defense.
With Oakland back home after two road games, I think they hang around in this one.
