Pete's Best Bets: Are the Titans the right side vs. Oakland?
Does our Pete Prisco think the Titans are a good play in Week 12? Check out his Best Bets for the weekend.

Time to change things up.
After going 2-3 with my Best Bets last week as part of Team Oddshark in the SuperContest at Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, I am now 30-24-1 on the season, which means something needs to change to kick it in gear for the stretch run.
Since it's a holiday week, I decided to get in the spirit. So rather than gorge myself with a pile of turkey and stuffing on Thanksgiving, I opted to pick Thursday games here for the first time this season.
Normally, since this comes out on Friday, I pass on the Thursday games. But I like two of them this week, so I am jumping on board. This is stretch-run time, which means it's time to make a move.
So as you sit on the couch Thursday, belt unbuckled from a day of stuffing yourself, dive into my picks and hope like heck you feel a lot better about them than your stomach does later in the night.
Cowboys (-1.5) vs. Panthers  (SportsLine's pick) -- It looks like the guys making the line want Panthers action. How else can you explain a line that has a 10-0 team getting a point? Well, Tony Romo is back and I still think there are reservations about the Panthers. I will go with the Cowboys and their improved pass rush to get after Cam Newton.Â
Packers (-8.5) vs. Bears (SportsLine's pick) -- The Packers are back. They righted their season last week at Minnesota. Not only did the passing game come alive, but they also got the pass rush going. That will be a problem here for Jay Cutler on a short week. Packers roll.Â
Titans (+2) vs. Raiders  (SportsLine's pick) -- The Raiders are playing consecutive road games, while Tennessee will have had 10 days off. Oakland is a young team that will face a tough challenge to get ready for that after losing to the Lions. Tennessee's defense is solid and will limit Oakland's offense. Give me the points.
Vikings (+1) at Falcons  (SportsLine's pick) -- The Falcons just don't look right, and Minnesota is a good, solid defense that will present problems to Matt Ryan. The Vikings are coming off a tough divisional loss to the Packers, which is concerning, but I think they re-group here and get Adrian Peterson back on track. Vikings win it.Â
Steelers (+3.5) at Seahawks (SportsLine's pick) -- The Seattle secondary has had major problems with good quarterbacks this season. Ben Roethlisberger is one of the best. I expect him to go into Seattle with his high-flying passing attack and do what Arizona did two weeks ago. Steelers win the game outright.Â
