The eighth-ranked Duke Blue Devils (21-5, 12-3 ACC) and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (17-9, 9-6 ACC) square off in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, N.C. Wake Forest is a 2.5-point favorite in the latest Duke vs. Wake Forest odds via SportsLine consensus, while the over/under for total points scored is 151 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Duke vs. Wake Forest picks, you need to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. It enters Week 16 of the 2023-24 season on a 136-89 roll on all top-rated college basketball picks dating back to last season, returning nearly $2,500 for $100 players. It is also off to a sizzling 25-13 start on top-rated spread picks this season. Anyone following has seen HUGE returns!

The model knows junior guard Hunter Sallis has been a welcome addition to the Demon Deacons after spending his first two years at Gonzaga. In 26 games, all starts, he is averaging 18.3 points, four rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal in 35 minutes of action. In Tuesday's win over Pittsburgh, Sallis poured in 17 points, while dishing out five assists and grabbing four rebounds.

It is also aware sophomore Kyle Filipowski continues to lead the way for the Blue Devils, and is coming off a solid effort in the win at Miami (Fla.) on Wednesday. In 31 minutes, he scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and blocked three shots. In the last matchup against Wake Forest, Filipowski registered a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
