One of college football's best rivalries resumes this week when the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers collide in the SEC on CBS game on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Ala. Alabama (10-1, 6-1 in SEC) has won the SEC Western Division and has clinched a spot in next week's SEC Championship Game against No. 1 Georgia. Meanwhile Auburn (6-5, 3-4) enters the Iron Bowl on a three-game losing streak.

Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. ET. The Crimson Tide are 20.5-point favorites in the latest Alabama vs. Auburn odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over/Under for total points scored is 57. (See the latest college football lines for all of this week's games on our college football odds page.)

Before you make any Auburn vs. Alabama picks or college football predictions, see what the SportsLine Projection Model has to say.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,700 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. It also enters Week 13 of the 2021 season on a 39-25 run on all top-rated college football side picks. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows that Bryce Young is having one of the best seasons of any quarterback in the country. The 6-foot sophomore from Pasadena, Calif., ranks in the top 10 in the nation in several categories, including passing touchdowns (second at 38), points responsible for (second at 244) and passing efficiency (third at 186.2). He also ranks sixth in completion percentage (71.7) and seventh in passing yards per game (325.8).

The model also knows that Auburn has a talented running back duo in Tank Bigsby and Jarquez Hunter. A 6-foot sophomore from La Grange, Ga., Bigsby ranks fifth in the SEC in rushing yards per game (85.7). Meanwhile Hunter, a 5-foot-10 freshman from Philadelphia, Miss., is 12th (52.2). Hunter also ranks 12th among all FBS players in yards per carry (7.09).

Now the model has simulated Alabama vs. Auburn 10,000 times, and the results are in. We can tell you that the model is leaning Over the total, and it says one side of the spread covers over 60 percent of the time. You absolutely need to see it before locking in your own picks.
