Big East action takes place when No. 18 Xavier (11-1) travels to take on No. 23 Villanova (7-4) on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. ET. The Musketeers defeated Marquette 80-71 on Dec. 18 to win their seventh straight game. The Wildcats have been blown out in their last two matchups. On Dec. 17, Villanova fell to Creighton 79-59 and lost their second game in a row. Villanova is favored by 5.5 points at Caesers Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 136.

Before making any Xavier vs. Villanova picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,200 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Xavier junior forward Jack Nunge is averaging 13 points, 7.8 rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the field. The Indiana native has logged three double-doubles thus far. In the victory against Cincinnati, Nunge finished with a season-high 31 points with 15 boards. He shot 9 of 14 from the field and 11 of 15 from the free-throw line.

The model also knows Villanova graduate student Collin Gillespie is averaging a team-high 16.2 points, 3.3 assists, and 1.5 steals. He is also knocking down 40 percent of his 3-pointers. Against the University of Pennsylvania, Gillespie dropped 26 points while shooting 9 of 15 from the floor. The Pennsylvania native has also recorded at least two steals in six games.

Now, it has set its sights on Xavier vs. Villanova. We can tell you the model is leaning over the total and it also says one side of the spread hits in almost 60 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
