No. 13 Oklahoma vs. TCU odds, line, picks: Predictions for Friday's college football Week 13 matchup from advanced computer model
SportsLine's projection model has generated selections for Friday's regular-season finale between the Sooners and Horned Frogs
The 13th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners look to avenge their largest loss in the history of the all-time series when they host the TCU Horned Frogs in the regular-season finale for both Big 12 teams on Friday. Oklahoma (9-2, 6-2), which still hopes to secure a spot in the conference title game, had its eight-game winning streak against TCU (5-6, 3-5) halted when it was routed 55-24 last year. The Sooners, who are 17-6 versus the Horned Frogs, are coming off a 31-24 triumph at BYU, while TCU ended its three-game skid with a 42-17 victory against Baylor last week.
Kickoff at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman is set for noon ET. The Sooners are 9.5-point favorites in the latest Oklahoma vs. TCU odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 63. Oklahoma is the -382 favorite (risk $382 to win $100) on the money line (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college football odds page).
Before you make any TCU vs. Oklahoma picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from SportsLine's proven computer model.
The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Since its inception, it has generated a strong profit of well over $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns!
The model knows Oklahoma has yet to lose at home this season, going 5-0 while scoring an average of 48.2 points and allowing 16 per contest. The Sooners hope quarterback Dillon Gabriel is able to take the field as the redshirt senior missed the second half of the win against BYU with an upper-body injury. Gabriel, who threw for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns before exiting, ranks ninth in the nation with 3,260 passing yards and is tied for seventh with 27 TD tosses.
The model also is aware that TCU is looking to avoid its longest road losing streak since 2000 as it has dropped three straight away from home after winning the previous seven. The Horned Frogs hope for another strong performance from quarterback Josh Hoover, who has been very impressive since taking over for the injured Chandler Morris. A redshirt freshman, Hoover has posted four 300-yard passing performances in five starts and eclipsed the 400-yard mark for the second time last week, completing 24-of-29 attempts for 412 yards and two touchdowns while also running for a score.
Now, the model has set its sights on Friday's Oklahoma vs. TCU matchup. We can tell you it is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 60% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks!
