NFL Week 14 teasers: Proven NFL expert ranks top plays, which don't include the red-hot Bengals

R.J. White, who has dominated NFL ATS picks for the last five years, shares his top teaser plays for Week 14

Our Teaser of the Week finally hit a bump in the road after five straight wins as the Ravens lost Lamar Jackson early against the Broncos and struggled to even win the game. Our teaser line was -2 and they won by one point, so it wasn't a big miss even with the injury. That makes me confident it would have been a cover had Jackson played the full 60 minutes. Our other three potential teaser options took underdogs up through 3 and 7 to +8 or higher, and none of those three teams lost their games (wins by the Bengals and Raiders, plus a Giants tie), so hopefully you managed to put together a winning teaser last week.

This week, there aren't that many clear options, with only three games potentially going through Teaser Alley depending on what spreads are available to you. That might lead to the desire to stretch and find some alternate options, but one team I'm not backing as a teaser option is the Bengals against the Browns. With that line at -6, teasing would get it down to just needing the Bengals to win, and it feels like that's a safe bet coming off beating the Chiefs.

But the Bengals had all sorts of problems against the Browns earlier this year, losing 32-13 in Week 8 after Cleveland had lost four straight games. The Browns dominated them statistically in that game, outgaining the Bengals 440 yards to 229, and though the Bengals offensive line has performed much better since that game, there's always a chance this is just a bad matchup for Cincinnati. Joe Burrow has excelled against the Chiefs in his career but is 0-4 against the Browns. And even though Deshaun Watson looked quite rusty in his debut last week, there's always the possibility he finds his form this week and is the standout everyone remembers on the field. That makes the Bengals a dangerous play to trust in a teaser for me.

So who is in our Teaser of the Week? Do we trust the Eagles or Chiefs on the road in divisional matchups? Let's get into the picks right now.
