Man, these big 'dogs are tempting with the teaser points tacked on. Three matchups have been assigned double-digit spreads, while two more carry lines of eight and nine points.

The inclination is to jump on the underdogs with the teaser spread in the mid-to-high teens and hope they can become reasonably competitive for a cover.

Check out our three sets of teaser plays for Week 13 to see if we bit on any of the heavy 'dogs. We begin with a totals teaser and conclude with a combo exclusive to the Sunday and Monday night games.

Totals teaser: Vikings-Lions Under 52.5, Cardinals-Bears Over 37.5

Shoulder injuries are likely to waylay each side's top RBs -- Minnesota's Dalvin Cook and Detroit's D'Andre Swift. The Vikes can score a little without Cook, but the Lions are helpless minus Swift. Since their bye, the Lions' defense has been stout. The same cannot be said of the offense, and the byproduct has been games of 32, 23 and 30 points. In the earlier matchup, the teams combined for 36.

Though they must shake off a month of rust, the likely return of Arizona's lethal combo, QB Kyler Murray and WR DeAndre Hopkins, almost assures a game with scoring in the 40s at minimum. In four road games with both on the field, the Cardinals alone have tallied 38, 31, 37 and 37 points. It would help if Murray's young counterpart, Justin Fields, plays. The Bears scored 22 and 27 in his last two starts prior to an injury.
