The Philadelphia Eagles look to start their season 3-0 and put a stranglehold on the NFC East division when they take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The Eagles, who have won the division in four of the past eight years, are looking to be the first repeat winner in the division since they accomplished the feat in four consecutive years from 2001 to 2004. They already have a one-game lead over Washington and Dallas, and two over the New York Giants. The Eagles are 6-1 against divisional foes over the past one-plus seasons. The model is high on Philadelphia (-3.5, 44.5) to cover against the Los Angeles Rams at home. The Eagles won both meetings last season, including a 37-20 victory in the regular season and a 28-22 win in an NFC divisional playoff game. Philly has also won nine of its last 10 meetings with the Rams.

The Eagles are led by veteran quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is a dual threat. So far this season, he has completed 34 of 45 passes (75.6%) for 253 yards. He has also rushed 23 times for 77 yards (3.3 average) and three touchdowns. In 15 games last season, he completed 68.7% of his passes for 2,903 yards and 18 touchdowns with just five interceptions and a rating of 103.7 rating.

There are a number of intriguing matchups on the Week 3 NFL schedule, including Packers vs. Browns (+7.5), Saints vs. Seahawks (-7.5), Jets vs. Buccaneers (-6.5), Raiders vs. Commanders (-3) and Lions vs. Ravens (-4.5) on Monday Night Football.
