NFL Futures bets, predictions, props: Proven football expert reveals top picks to lead league in receiving yards in 2025
SportsLine expert Jimmie Kaylor reveals his top NFL prop bets and his picks to lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2025
The National Football League is loaded with game-changing players at the wide receiver position. Most teams have at least one wide receiver (some teams, like the Cincinnati Bengals, have two or more) that can single-handedly alter the outcome of games. In 2024, 24 players totaled 1,000 or more receiving yards, with Ja'Marr Chase (1,708) and Justin Jefferson (1,533) leading the way. With the NFL season rapidly approaching, DraftKings Sportsbook has released its NFL futures odds for who will lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2025.Â
SportsLine expert Jimmie Kaylor has broken down the latest NFL odds and just locked in his top picks to lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2025. You'll want to see who Kaylor is backing before making any NFL futures picks of your own.Â
Kaylor is a DFS and betting expert for SportsLine, who won a DraftKings Millionaire Maker contest in 2022. He uses a combination of his background as a former college and NFL football player and his keen eye for statistical trends when making his picks and locking in his DFS lineups. Kaylor enters the 2024 calendar year with multiple five-figure tournament cashes on his DFS resume, and has been profitable across multiple sports since joining SportsLine as an expert handicapper.Â
Here are Kaylor's top three picks to lead the NFL in receiving yards in 2025. All odds via DraftKings Sportsbook.
Justin Jefferson (+800)
Jefferson will have his third starting quarterback in three years in 2025, but that doesn't seem to matter for the former LSU star. Jefferson has gone over 1,000 yards in all five of his professional seasons, and he averages almost 10 targets per game for his career. The 26-year-old is averaging 96.5 yards per game for his career, which is currently an NFL record. At 8-1, this is a great value.
Malik Nabers (+1000)
Nabers was outstanding as a rookie, and while his quarterback situation has improved, it still is a cause for some concern here. That said, the second-year pro is as explosive as any wide receiver in the NFL right now, and I expect him to see a massive target share in 2025. At 10-1 this is also a solid value play.
Ladd McConkey (+3500)
McConkey exceeded expectations as a rookie, and plays with one of the best pure throwers in the NFL in Justin Herbert. Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh loves to run the ball, but it's hard to ignore McConkey's production in 2024 (82 catches for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns). At 35-1, McConkey offers great value as a sleeper here.
