The No. 18 Auburn Tigers will look to stay on a roll when they take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a 2021 Holiday Hoopsgiving matchup on Saturday. Tip-off from State Farm Arena in Atlanta is set for 11:30 a.m. ET.

Auburn is favored by 14 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 149.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page). Auburn coach Bruce Pearl will not be on the bench for the Tigers after receiving a two-game suspension and the program being placed on four years' probation for rules violations.

Before making any Nebraska vs. Auburn picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $2,200 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Auburn forward Jabari Smith, a blue chip freshman, was the highest-rated player to sign in program history and has been as good as advertised. He is the Tigers' leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 16.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Smith is on a team-best five-game double-digit scoring streak, and is coming off a 17-point effort in the win over Yale. He has been red hot from the field, connecting on 46.3 percent from the floor, including 43.9 percent from 3-point range, and is hitting 82.9 percent from the free throw line.

The model also knows senior Alonzo Verge Jr., a graduate transfer from Arizona State, is off to a big start to his Cornhuskers career, averaging 16.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He led Nebraska with 31 points, eight rebounds and three assists vs. Michigan, and nearly posted a triple-double at North Carolina State with 25 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds. He had 18 points and 10 assists against Tennessee State, and recorded his first career double-double in his Cornhuskers debut against Western Illinois in a 75-74 loss on Nov. 9, finishing with 26 points and a career-high 13 rebounds. At Arizona State last season, Verge averaged 14 points, 3.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds.

Now, it has set its sights on Nebraska vs. Auburn. It is leaning Over on the total and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
