NBA DFS: Key Celtics absence could make Jayson Tatum elite stud play on DraftKings for Monday

Week 17 is about to begin and eight games are set to tip-off on Monday. There's still plenty of uncertainty in the air in the final days before the NBA trade deadline, and several more impact players could be moved. Ameer Tyree got his start in NBA DFS more than four years ago. The former DraftKings Nation betting and fantasy writer spent more than a year and a half breaking down basketball slates to build optimal lineups there. Now he's looking at six plays for Monday.

One play Ameer loves: Jayson Tatum at $11,000. "I usually don't endorse rostering studs this expensive, but Jaylen Brown's (illness) unexpected questionable tag makes this play particularly interesting. Tatum is averaging more than 35 points per game without Brown this season and racked up 43 points with 10 assists the last time he faced the Pistons this season," Ameer said about the matchup.
