NASCAR at the Brickyard road course odds, predictions: Betting pioneer releases 2021 Verizon 200 picks

With just three races remaining in the NASCAR Cup regular season, the circuit heads to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course for the first time ever. There is a tie atop the standings that will take center stage when the green flag drops at 1 p.m. ET for the 2021 Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. Kyle Larson, listed at 3-1 in the latest 2021 Verizon 200 odds from Caesars Sportsbook, snagged his series-leading fifth win of the 2021 season last week at Watkins Glen. Larson and Denny Hamlin, listed at 15-1 odds, are now tied with 917 points each.

Larson will be aiming for his third win on a road course this season. Hamlin is still seeking his first victory of the 2021 campaign. Both will be challenged by race favorite Chase Elliott (8-5), who has won six of the last eight Cup races on road courses. Seven of his 13 career Cup wins have come on road courses.
