MLB odds, lines, picks: Advanced computer model includes Rays in parlay for Wednesday that would pay more than 6-1

The New York Mets will try to bounce back from a loss in the series opener when they face NL East rivals the Atlanta Braves as part of a loaded Wednesday MLB slate. The Braves took a 6-4 victory Tuesday, and the Mets were swept by Toronto the previous series, so they need a victory. There are 15 games on the Wednesday MLB slate, including high-profile Twins vs. Rays and Astros vs. Blue Jays battles.

First pitch for Mets vs. Braves is set for 7:20 p.m. ET at Truist Park in Atlanta. The Braves are -125 betting favorites (risk $125 to win $100), while the Mets are priced at +105 in the latest Caesars Sportsbook MLB odds. The over/under for total runs scored is 9.5. (See up-to-date lines for every game on our MLB odds page.)

That game is one of 15 on the Wednesday MLB schedule, so there are plenty of betting options. If you combine your favorite picks in a parlay, you can cash in huge. Before making any MLB picks or parlays for Wednesday's games, be sure to check out the MLB predictions and betting advice from SportsLine's proven computer model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times. It went 331-285 on top-rated MLB money-line picks (+357) over the past two seasons. It has opened the 2023 MLB season on a 32-24 roll (+142) on all top-rated MLB picks. The model's three-leg parlay hit Tuesday night for a payout of nearly 7-1! That was the second hit on a three-leg parlay since Memorial Day. Anybody who has followed the model has seen profitable returns!

Now, the model has set its sights on the MLB schedule for Wednesday and has generated a four-leg parlay that would pay more than 6-1! The parlay doesn't start until 6:40 p.m. ET, giving you plenty of time to make your MLB picks.

We can tell you that one of the picks is the Rays -130 over the Twins (6:40 p.m. ET). Tampa Bay took the series opener 7-0 on Tuesday night. The model also has three other picks, including a strong play from the Mets-Braves showdown! You ABSOLUTELY need to see them before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
