A Big Ten matchup will be underway when Minnesota (12-11) and Penn State (10-12) face off on Thursday afternoon. Minnesota has struggled lately, losing six of its last seven games. Meanwhile, Penn State snapped its three-game losing streak in its last contest as the Nittany Lions upset No. 19 Michigan State 62-58. Penn State is favored by 5.5 points and the over-under for total points is set at 127.5 at Caesars Sportsbook.

Before making any Minnesota vs. Penn State picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Minnesota sophomore forward Jamison Battle averages 16.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. The Minnesota native has scored at least 19 points in four of the last 10 games he's played in. On Feb. 9 against Nebraska, Battle finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds. He also knocked down five 3-pointers.

The model also knows Penn State junior forward Seth Lundy is averaging 13.1 points and 5.5 rebounds. Lundy has scored in double figures in 15 games thus far. In the win over No. 19 Michigan State, the New Jersey native logged 17 points, five rebounds, and shot 6-for-14 from the floor.

Now, it has set its sights on Minnesota vs. Penn State. We can tell you the model is leaning over the total and it also says one side of the spread has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
