It should be a fierce battle between rivals Sunday afternoon when the No. 23 Ohio State Buckeyes host the Michigan Wolverines in a Big Ten college basketball matchup. The Buckeyes (19-9, 12-7) won the season's first meeting between these teams 68-57 last month. The Wolverines (16-13, 12-7) have been on the bubble at least since then and need another signature win to get the NCAA Tournament committee's attention.

Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m. at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The Buckeyes are the 4.5-point favorite in the latest Michigan vs. Ohio State odds from Caesars Sportsbook, and the Over-Under is set at 143.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before you make any Ohio State vs. Michigan picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $1,700 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Buckeyes have the player who might be the best in the Big Ten in E.J. Liddell. The forward scored 28 points in the last meeting and can do it all. He leads the conference in blocked shots (2.5 per game), is fourth in scoring (19.5 points) and eighth in rebounding (7.8). He also shares the team lead with 41 made three-pointers, hitting 38 percent of his attempts. Freshman Malaki Branham hits 44 percent and has made 33 from beyond the arc. The Buckeyes have won four of the last five meetings with Michigan.

The model also knows the Wolverines have a star of their own in Hunter Dickinson. The 7-foot-1 sophomore is fifth in the Big Ten in scoring (18.5 per game) and tied for third in rebounding (8.5). He forms a strong inside-outside partnership with Eli Brooks, who scored 17 in the last meeting. Brooks and Caleb Houstan have combined to make 101 three-pointers, and both shoot better than 37 percent from outside. Moussa Diabate, a 6-11 freshman, will help defend Liddell. UM is third in the Big Ten in rebounding margin (plus-5.7).

Now, the model has broken down the Michigan vs. Ohio State matchup from every angle and revealed its results. We can tell you the model is leaning Over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
