Memphis vs. Temple odds, line: Proven college basketball model releases picks for Thursday's AAC showdown

The SportsLine projection model has released its selections for Thursday's American Athletic Conference game between the Tigers and Owls

The Memphis Tigers aim for their fourth consecutive home victory when they take on the Temple Owls in an American Athletic Conference matchup on Thursday. Memphis (15-9, 9-5) hasn't lost on its own court since Jan. 20, when it dropped a 70-62 decision to SMU. Temple (15-9, 8-5) is seeking its third straight win after posting a 75-71 triumph at Cincinnati on Sunday.

Tipoff at the FedEx Forum is set for 7 p.m. ET. The Tigers are 12-point favorites in the latest Memphis vs. Temple odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 137.5. (See up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page.)

Before making any Temple vs. Memphis picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Memphis will be playing at home for the first time since posting an 80-69 victory against Tulane on Feb. 9. The Tigers also are eager to bounce back from a 73-57 loss at SMU on Sunday, a setback that halted their six-game winning streak. Freshman center Jalen Duren leads Memphis with an average of 11.4 points and recorded 11 on 5-of-6 shooting versus the Mustangs.

The model also knows nearly half of Temple's offensive output against Cincinnati came from its bench, which contributed 35 points. Freshman forward Zach Hicks went 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and finished with a team-high 16 points while freshman guard Damian Dunn returned from an ankle injury to score 15. Dunn leads the Owls with an average of 15.5 points and has reached double figures in 19 of his 22 contests this season.

Now, the model has set its sights on Memphis vs. Temple. We can tell you it is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
