Even with Lamar Jackson's play falling off in 2020, Mark Andrews was able to finish as a top-five Fantasy TE for the second straight season. His Fantasy point per game average dropped by 16 percent from 2019 to 2020, though, and any further regression to Lamar Jackson's passing efficiency could result in Andrews falling outside of the top five in Fantasy scoring at his position for the first time since his rookie season.
Andrews seems like a clear top-five TE pick for season-long drafts, but should he be ranked ahead of up-and-coming youngsters T.J. Hockenson and Kyle Pitts for Dynasty purposes?
SportsLine Fantasy Football analyst Jacob Gibbs provides a data-driven deep dive to answer that question and address anything that stood out from his advanced statistical profile. These player profiles are just a small part of the advanced analytical prep Gibbs is providing for SportsLine users heading into the 2021 Fantasy football season -- if you want an easy way to keep up with all of the information that will be published this spring and summer, this Advanced Fantasy Football Stat Guide will be updated with links to each article as they go live.
