A year after finishing as the second-highest scoring Fantasy QB of all time, Lamar Jackson was just the QB10 in 2020. Jackson again rushed for over 1,000 yards and added seven touchdowns with his legs, but his passing production fell off in a big way. Is 2020 a more accurate representation of what we should expect from Jackson going forward? Has he been surpassed by Josh Allen and Kyler Murray as Fantasy's premier dual-threat QB, or is a bounce-back likely in 2021?
Still just 24 years old, Jackson is a clear top-five QB pick for Dynasty startup draft purposes, but just how high should he be ranked at the position in season-long leagues after barely finishing inside the top-10 in 2020?
SportsLine Fantasy Football analyst Jacob Gibbs provides a data-driven deep dive to answer that question and address anything that stood out from his advanced statistical profile. These player profiles are just a small part of the advanced analytical prep Gibbs is providing for SportsLine users heading into the 2021 Fantasy football season -- if you want an easy way to keep up with all of the information that will be published this spring and summer, this Advanced Fantasy Football Stat Guide will be updated with links to each article as they go live.
