The Boston University Terriers look to get back on track when they take on the visiting Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds in a key Patriot League matchup on Friday night. The Terriers (10-5) and Greyhounds (7-6) are both 1-1 in conference action. Tipoff from Case Gym in Boston is set for 5 p.m. ET. Boston University is favored by 7.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 134.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Loyola (Md.) vs. Boston University picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of almost $2,200 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Terriers have three players averaging double-figure scoring, led by graduate student guard Javante McCoy. McCoy has reached double digits in all 15 games this season, including a season-high 27 points in a 68-63 win over Binghamton on Dec. 4. He has also scored 20 or more points three times and is connecting on 50.8 percent of his field goals, including 48.4 percent from 3-point range. He hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds left in a 61-60 win over Merrimack on Nov. 28. For the season, he is averaging 16.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals in 34.1 minutes per game.

The model also knows the Greyhounds will play just their third game in 26 days, but it is the third of eight during a 24-day stretch to open league play. Junior guard Cameron Spencer is second in the Patriot League in points (18.4) and leads the conference in steals per game at 2.2, which is 24th nationally. He also tops the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio, 4.4-to-1, which ranks him No. 3 in NCAA Division I. Since the start of the New Year, Spencer is averaging 22.5 points, including a 26-point effort in a 77-74 overtime loss at Army on Jan. 1.
