The Tampa Bay Lightning will become the 27th different team to participate in a regular-season outdoor game when they visit the Nashville Predators in the 2022 NHL Stadium Series contest at Nissan Stadium on Saturday. The opening face-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. While Tampa Bay plays outdoors for the first time, Nashville made its debut when it dropped a 4-2 decision to the Stars at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in the 2020 NHL Winter Classic.

Tampa Bay is the -175 favorite (risk $175 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Lightning vs. Predators odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Predators are +150 underdogs. The over-under for total goals scored is set at six (see the latest lines for every game on our NHL odds page).

Before making any Predators vs. Lightning picks, you NEED to see the latest NHL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NHL game 10,000 times. The proprietary computer model enters Week 20 a profitable 102-82 on all top-rated NHL picks this season, with a strong 82-61 record on top-rated NHL money-line picks, returning almost $800 for $100 players. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Tampa Bay defeated Edmonton 5-3 at home on Wednesday for its third consecutive victory. Captain Steven Stamkos leads the team with 56 points in 49 games and has scored four of his club-best 24 goals during his current three-game streak. Former Hart Trophy winner Corey Perry has notched five points over his last three contests, including his 400th career goal in the win over the Oilers.

The model also knows the Predators have won two in a row after a four-game slide and will look for backing from the home crowd. They have won two of the past three meetings, and they won five in a row to kick off 2022, so if they avoid penalties they can certainly compete. Filip Forsberg has a team-high 26 goals and Matt Duchene has scored 23. Defenseman Roman Josi leads the team 53 points, setting up 39 goals.

Now, the model has set its sights on Lightning vs. Predators. We can tell you it's leaning Over on the goal total, and it also says one side of the money line has all the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NHL picks of your own.
