The Nicholls State Colonels will look to avoid being swept in the season series when they take on the Lamar Cardinals in a key Southland Conference matchup on Wednesday. The Colonels (15-14, 10-7 Southland), fourth in the conference standings, have won five of their last eight games. The Cardinals (9-21, 5-12), who are tied for ninth in the league with McNeese, have lost three in a row. Lamar defeated Nicholls 69-66 on Jan. 12.

The game from the Stopher Gymnasium in Thibodaux, Louisiana, will tip off at 8 p.m. ET.
