Jason La Canfora's 2023 NFL Week 7 picks: Ravens vs. Lions among insider's best bets

I definitely have a type. When it comes to games that have a siren call, it's usually suspect red zone offenses with a limited offensive scope, defensive-minded head coaches and teams that really trust their kickers. And when two of them get together, I can't resist.

Unders were the rule again last week and I hope you riding them with me. The average QB rating in the NFL right now is 88. Gulp. Teams are averaging 5.2 yards per play, the lowest mark since 2006. Overall touchdown production through six weeks is the lowest it's been since 2010. I don't see that reversing in Week 7.

Perhaps we don't get 12 more Unders this week. But then again, you never know.
