The Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic match up in an Eastern Conference tilt at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Atlanta is favored by six points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 226.5 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page). Before making any Hawks vs. Magic picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 17 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 67-39 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,200. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Hawks are tremendous on offense, scoring 1.13 points per possession. That ranks in the top five of the NBA in offensive efficiency, with top-five rankings in turnover rate, assist-to-turnover ratio, and three-point accuracy. Atlanta is also very strong in field goal percentage and free throw percentage. The Hawks take care of the defensive glass, securing 74 percent of available rebounds, and Atlanta is in the top three of the NBA in preventing second-chance points.

The model also knows the Magic are strong at the free throw line, making nearly 79 percent of attempts. Orlando should also benefit from a porous Atlanta defense, with the Hawks ranking in the bottom five of the NBA in defensive rating. Atlanta is No. 28 in turnovers created, No. 28 in steals, No. 26 in assists allowed and No. 25 in three-point percentage allowed. The Magic are also very good at protecting the rim, giving up only 44.5 points in the paint per game.

Now, it has set its sights on Hawks vs. Magic. We can tell you the model is leaning under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
