SportsLine's projection model generated selections for Wednesday's matchup between the Memphis Grizzlies and the New York Knicks

The New York Knicks welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to Madison Square Garden for a big-time matchup at 7:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Memphis is favored by four points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over-Under is set at 217 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our NBA odds page). Before making any Grizzlies vs. Knicks picks, you NEED to check out the NBA predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every NBA game 10,000 times and has returned well over $10,000 in profit for $100 players on its top-rated NBA picks over the past three-plus seasons. The model enters Week 16 of the 2021-22 NBA season on a stunning 62-32 roll on all top-rated NBA picks, returning over $2,500. Anyone following it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows Memphis leads the entire NBA in myriad offensive categories. The Grizzlies are scoring almost 1.12 points per possession, a top-eight figure, and Memphis averages 22 free throw attempts per game. From there, the Grizzlies are No. 1 in the league in offensive rebound rate, second-chance points, fast break points and points in the paint. Memphis rounds that out with top-10 rankings in assists, turnovers and assist-to-turnover ratio.

The model also knows the Knicks are well-coached and effective on defense. New York gives up only 41.3 points in the paint per game, No. 2 in the NBA, and the Knicks are in the top five in field goal percentage allowed (44.1 percent). New York is No. 7 in two-point shooting allowed (51.4 percent), with above-average marks in defensive rebound rate, second-chance points, free throw attempts allowed and fast break points allowed. Memphis is just No. 28 in the NBA in three-pointers per game, and the Knicks can clamp down as a result.

Now, it has set its sights on Grizzlies vs. Knicks. We can tell you the model is leaning Under the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in over 50 percent of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NBA picks.
