The 18th-ranked Tennessee Volunteers will look for continued success against the Florida Gators when they meet in a key SEC matchup on Wednesday night. The Volunteers (13-5, 4-3) have won six of their last seven games against the Gators (12-7, 3-4). Tipoff from Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn., is set for 6 p.m. ET. Tennessee is favored by 9.5 points at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points is set at 131 (see up-to-date odds for every game this week on our college basketball odds page).

Before making any Florida vs. Tennessee picks, you NEED to check out the college basketball predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. It enters Week 12 of the season with a 49-36 record on all top-rated college basketball picks, returning almost $700. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of $2,800 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Volunteers are led by junior guard Santiago Vescovi, who is averaging a team-high 14.1 points per game. He is tied for the SEC lead in 3-pointers made per game (3.0) and is second in 3-point percentage (38.3 percent). Vescovi was named to the 2021 Hall of Fame Tip-Off All-Tournament Team after averaging 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and making seven 3-pointers in two games against top-20 opponents. He has 143 career 3-point makes in 64 career games played (2.2 per game average). In the last meeting against Florida, a 78-66 win on March 12, 2021, in the SEC Tournament, Vescovi led the Volunteers in scoring with 14 points on 4 of 9 shooting and five assists.

The model also knows the Gators have five players averaging 8.4 points per game or better, led by senior forward Colin Castleton. But Florida will be without their big man after he suffered an injury at South Carolina last week. Helping pick up the slack will be senior guard Phlandrous Fleming Jr., a transfer from Charleston Southern, who is also a big part of the offense. Fleming is averaging 10.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals. His best game was a 20-point performance in an 87-62 win over Stony Brook on Dec. 22.

Now, it has set its sights on Florida vs. Tennessee. It is leaning Over on the total and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50 percent of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college basketball picks.
