The Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) will try to get their offense going when they kick off Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season against the visiting Minnesota Vikings (0-1) on Thursday Night Football. Philadelphia opened the campaign with a 25-20 victory at New England despite being outgained 382-251 by the Patriots and scoring just one offensive touchdown. The Vikings are coming off a 20-17 home loss to Tampa Bay in which they allowed the game-winning field goal with 5:10 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Kickoff at Lincoln Financial Field is set for 8:15 p.m. ET. Philadelphia is a six-point favorite in the latest Eagles vs. Vikings odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 49. Before making any Vikings vs. Eagles picks of your own, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model knows Philadelphia got off to a strong start against New England in Week 1, building a 16-0 lead in the first quarter. The Eagles recorded both of their touchdowns in the period as cornerback Darius Slay returned an interception 70 yards for a score while Jalen Hurts threw a 5-yard TD pass to DeVonta Smith.

The model also knows Minnesota began the season with a one-score loss after going 11-0 in such contests last year. Kirk Cousins threw for 344 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 1 but committed three turnovers in the first half. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson has 4,975 receiving yards in 51 career games after gaining 150 on nine catches in the opener.
