One change in the 2023 NFL schedule is that there are a handful of Monday night doubleheaders with staggered starts, with one game shown on ESPN/ESPN2 and the other on ABC. The first doubleheader is in Week 2 and the later game is Cleveland Browns (1-0) at Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) from the AFC North with the usual 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, but on ABC. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will have the call.

It's the 19th straight year the Steelers will play on Monday Night Football, and they have a 19-game home regular-season winning streak in the series. Pittsburgh has 52 wins on MNF, tied with San Francisco for the most in NFL history. The Steelers don't have another Monday game scheduled this year, although they could be flexed, while the 49ers still have two MNF games scheduled.

It's the first time the Steelers have had back-to-back home games to begin the season since 1997. They were dominated in a 30-7 defeat by San Francisco in Week 1. It's common knowledge that 0-2 teams almost never make the playoffs, so it's already a must-win sort of game for Mike Tomlin & Co. Tomlin has an NFL record streak of 16 straight seasons finishing .500 or better.

For Cleveland, it is just the third time in franchise history it will open against consecutive AFC North opponents (2020 and 2017). As bad as the Steelers looked offensively in Week 1 is how good the Browns defense looked in beating Cincinnati 24-3 and forcing Joe Burrow (14-for-32, 81 yards) into the worst game of his career.

Overall, this series sits at 80-62-1 in favor of Pittsburgh.
