Los Angeles Angels at New York Mets (-174, 9): 7:10 p.m. ET

The Mets had a furious comeback in the series opener Monday, scoring five runs across the seventh and eighth innings in a 7-5 win. New York is trying to keep pace with Philadelphia at the top of the NL East division and will turn to Frankie Montas (2-1, 5.03 ERA) for the second game of the series. Montas has won his last two starts, and he only allowed one run in his last appearance when he pitched five stellar innings against the Royals. The Angels, who have hovered around .500 for longer than many expected, are countering with Kyle Hendricks (5-6, 4.88 ERA). According to the SportsLine Model, L.A. is worth backing as a run-line underdog, as the Angels cover in 66% of simulations for another "A" grade.

Indiana Fever at New York Liberty (-11, 163): 8 p.m. ET

The Liberty are set to get Jonquel Jones back and are also going to add 2019 WNBA Finals MVP Emma Meeseman to their squad as they attempt to repeat. The Fever are still going to be without Caitlin Clark, who aggravated a groin injury she was playing through before the All-Star break. New York is a massive 11-point favorite, and experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai have a pick on the spread for this encounter.
