Bengals vs. Titans NFL Divisional odds: Derrick Henry props being posted by sportsbooks with expected return

Tennessee expects to get back superstar running back Derrick Henry on Saturday.

When the Tennessee Titans' offense first takes the field Saturday afternoon against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL's Divisional Round playoff game, expect to see Derrick Henry out there in his return from a foot injury. Nothing has been made official yet and may not be for a few days, but sportsbooks already have started posting Henry props.

Henry suffered a Jones fracture in his foot on Halloween against the Colts and not played since yet still ranks Top 10 in the league in rushing yards (937) and rushing scores (10). Nine games are the most missed by any player to finish a regular season ranked in the Top 10 in rushing yards in NFL history (Henry was ninth).

The two-time rushing champion was potentially on the way to a historic season. Henry actually has been practicing since Jan. 5, but the team hasn't had to officially activate him from injured reserve and probably won't do so before Thursday. Henry practiced in pads Tuesday and reportedly took part in his first contact practice.

"I think that's a good step for him to have contact," Coach Mike Vrabel said of Henry ahead of Tuesday's practice. "It's been a while since he's had contact and had to do these things that come close to replicating what's going to be asked of him in a football game. … It's going to be a big week of practice for us to continue to get Derrick back out there and get him acclimated to running the football and to seeing blocking schemes and seeing where guys are and to see where the cuts are."

Full Bengals-Titans player props aren't out this early, but Henry is the +450 favorite to be the game's first touchdown scorer, +450 favorite to be the last TD scorer and -190 favorite as an anytime scorer.

To rush for the most yards in the entire postseason, Henry is a +450 favorite along with San Francisco's Elijah Mitchell, who rushed for a Wild-Card Weekend-leading 96 yards in an upset of the Cowboys. The Bengals had the seventh-best run defense in the league during the regular season, allowing 102.5 yards per game. I'd guess Henry is set at around Over/Under 80 yards rushing. The SportsLine Projection Model forecasts the former Heisman winner for 84 yards on 18.7 carries.

Early Super Bowl 56 MVP odds are up as well and Henry is a +1200 sixth-favorite. Aaron Rodgers (+525) leads.
