World class horse racing takes place at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y., and on Saturday the late Pick 4 begins with Race 7 at 4:25 p.m. ET and ends with Race 10. Before you make any picks, you NEED to know how racing insider and accomplished horseplayer Bob Weir has handicapped the four-race sequence.

A Saratoga Springs-based racing insider and Beyer Speed Figure maker, Weir is a two-time qualifier for the prestigious National Horseplayers Championship in Las Vegas. He has produced multiple five-figure days at the track over the years, including a $60,000 Pick 6 at Del Mar in 2014. Last year he was on fire. He hit the exacta in the Sam F. Davis Stakes, Tampa Bay Derby and Peter Pan Stakes, the trifecta in the Risen Star Stakes, Blue Grass Stakes and Pennsylvania Derby and the superfecta in the Belmont Stakes, with the Tampa Bay score returning $1,414. Those were just some of his scores in 2021.

This year, he has hit the superfecta in the Blue Grass Stakes ($1,678), the trifecta in the Pegasus World Cup, Louisiana Derby, Jenny Wiley Stakes and Apple Blossom Handicap, the exacta in the Fountain of Youth Stakes and Tampa Bay Derby ($660) and multiple Pick 4s, among other scores.

Now he has handicapped the late Pick 4 at Belmont Park for Saturday, made his picks and constructed his tickets.

We can tell you that Weir is high on Umbria, the 3-1 favorite in Race 8, the second leg of the Pick 4. "Umbria gets back to his preferred surface after two starts on dirt," Weir says. Umbria is Weir's top choice in Race 7 and a single A horse on his Pick 4 tickets.

In addition, Weir's top pick in one of the races is a double-digit long shot! Weir says this horse is a "big player" and could spice up the Pick 4. Weir is including this long shot on his tickets, and so should you. You NEED to see Weir's analysis before making any Pick 4 selections.

So which big double-digit long shot can win? And how has Weir constructed his Pick 4 tickets? ... Join SportsLine now to get late Pick 4 selections at Belmont for Saturday, all from the racing insider who has been on fire!
