The Los Angeles Chargers will seek their sixth consecutive victory in the all-time series when they visit the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football. The winning streak by Los Angeles (5-3), which has won four of five overall, followed a six-game skid against the 49ers that includes Super Bowl XXIX. San Francisco (4-4) is coming off a bye after avoiding its third straight loss with a 31-14 triumph at the Los Angeles Rams.

Kickoff at Levi's Stadium is set for 8:20 p.m. ET. San Francisco is a 7.5-point favorite in the latest 49ers vs. Chargers odds at Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total points scored is 45.5. Before making any Chargers vs. 49ers picks, you NEED to check out the NFL predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,000 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 10 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 151-108 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is WAY UP.

The model knows San Francisco has been superb defensively this season, ranking first in total defense (285.9 yards) and sixth in points allowed (18.4). The 49ers also are first against the run (86.6 yards) and have allowed the fewest yards per carry (3.5) among all teams. Christian McCaffrey is coming off a performance in which he became the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2005 to record a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in the same game.

The model also knows Los Angeles is 4-0 against the spread on the road this season. The Chargers possess an aerial attack that ranks fourth (275.1 yards), while Justin Herbert is fifth in the league with 2,254 passing yards. Like the 49ers, Los Angeles has a multi-threat weapon on offense, as Austin Ekeler has recorded both a rushing and receiving TD four times over his last five contests, becoming the first player since at least 1950 to accomplish the feat in such a span.

Now, the model has set its sights on 49ers vs. Chargers on Sunday Night Football. We can tell you the model is leaning Over the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits in well over 50% of simulations! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any NFL picks.
