2026 The Masters odds, predictions: Top picks, props and analysis for the upcoming event at Augusta, Ga.
Golf insider Brady Kannon has broken down the 2026 Masters field and locked in his predictions and best bets
After completing his career grand slam at last year's Masters Tournament, Rory McIlroy will look to make it two in a row at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. He enters the tournament as a +1000 favorite, only behind Scottie Scheffler, who is at +480. McIlroy, 36, has 44 professional wins, including 29 on the PGA Tour. Besides last year's Masters, he also has wins at the PGA Championship (2012, 2014), U.S. Open (2011) and The Open Championship (2014).
The Masters gets underway at 8 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 9. The tournament, with a $21 million purse, will be played on a par-72 course measuring 7,555 yards.Â
Besides Scheffler and McIlroy, other favorites include Bryson Dechambeau and Jon Rahm at +1200, and Ludvig Aberg and Xander Schauffele at +1600. Other challengers include Matt Fitzpatrick and Tommy Fleetwood at +2200, and Cameron Young (+2500).
Before making any 2026 The Masters picks, you NEED to see the predictions and best bets from elite golf expert Brady Kannon.
Kannon is an elite golfing handicapper with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. He has called eight major winners since 2013 and hit six PGA winners, including 110-1 longshot Harris English at the Farmers Insurance Open, in 2025. He also hit on Matt Fitzpatrick (15-1) last week for an outright winner. Additionally, he's 32-27-4 on head-to-head bets since joining SportsLine. Anyone who followed his lead could have been WAY UP!
Now, Kannon has been digging into The Masters field to find the best betting value and just locked in his best bets to back. He's fading Tyrrell Hatton (40-1 at DraftKings).Â
"Certainly, as one of the better players in the world, the long odds may look quite attractive on the Englishman who is coming off five consecutive cuts made at The Masters with a ninth-place finish in 2024," Kannon said. "The fact remains however, last year's 14th-place finish and the aforementioned top 10 the year prior are his two highest ever finishes at Augusta National in nine trips. He's missed the cut here twice. I just don't believe he has the game that is best suited for this golf course and I'm also not sure he has the temperament to handle getting across the finish line on a Sunday at the biggest pressure cooker in golf. Hatton contended last season at the U.S. Open and he's been known to be a very good links player.
"Again, I see the other three majors as better fits for Hatton and not the test that The Masters presents. Furthermore, his game has been quite inconsistent on the LIV circuit this season with finishes of 47-45-and-38 wrapped around a third and a 10th. The Masters, or any major really, is not necessarily receptive to volatility in one's current game. Remember here, we are dealing with 50-some players on LIV and Hatton ranks 44th in Scrambling, 33rd for Greens in Regulation, and 27th in Putting Average. Normally, I might say Hatton is worth a look at a top-20 finish but with the way he's been all over the place this season on LIV, another missed cut at the year's first major championship could be in Hatton's near future."
Kannon has revealed his best bet, and it's a surprising golfer who returns around 40-1 and is a perfect course fit!
