2026 Fantasy Football draft strategy: How to approach a bottom-four slot in PPR, non-PPR and Superflex leagues

After taking a look at how to draft in 2026 Fantasy football leagues with a pick in the top four as well as picks 5 through 8, now we move on to the back four picks in the first round. I particularly like the No. 12 pick this year, as I see a tier drop after my top eight receivers and top five running backs, so that last spot allows you to scoop up two of those players above that break in talent. However, the next four players are solid enough that you should feel good about the core of your team coming out of Round 2 either way.

But how should you strategize the rest of your draft after securing those first two players?
