He's also hit Hideki Matsuyama (22-1), Harris English (110-1), Ludvig Aberg (25-1), and Ben Griffin/Andrew Novak (25-1) in New Orleans. Since joining SportsLine, he's 19-13-4 on head-to-head bets. Anyone who followed his lead could have been WAY UP!
Now, Kannon has been digging into this week's field to find the best betting value and just locked in his best bets and longshots to back.Â
This week, Kannon is backing Matt Wallace at 35-1. "Port Royal Golf Course is a very short golf course by Tour standards, a Par 71 at less than 6,900 yards. Very little rough borders what are average width fairways but there are 87 sand bunkers of which to negotiate. The greens are large and as expected, they are Bermudagrass surfaces. Given that we are situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean this week, the ever-looming factor with this golf course and this tournament, is wind. It has not been a factor in each of the past six editions but it appears that it will be this time around as the forecast is calling for anything from 15-35 MPH breezes over each of the four days."
Kannon is also jumping on a longshot to win, at 90-1 or higher! Anyone who backs them could cash in HUGE.Â
