One surprise: Yu is completely fading Skippylongstocking, even though he's one of the top favorites at 8-1! Skippylongstocking has raced twice before in a Grade 1 race at 1 1/8 miles and disappointed in both. He placed seventh in last year's Pegasus World Cup and was ninth in the Pennsylvania Derby before that. His only victories since late 2022 have come with off-track conditions, but Yu doesn't foresee success for Skippylongstocking even if that's the case on Saturday.
